- Reapply food-grade mineral oil or natural beeswax as needed to maintain the finish and prevent drying or cracking.

Wood Appearance
We celebrate imperfections and cherish the ever-changing beauty of nature. Natural cracking and variations in size and colour are not flaws but integral parts of the aesthetic. The sustainably harvested wood used in crafting these products may exhibit some variations from the samples or product imagery due to the inherent nature of the material. These items are meticulously handcrafted, and while we strive to replicate our marketing photos accurately, we cannot guarantee identical replication with each product.
Wood is a dynamic material that responds to its environment, exhibiting changes in appearance over time due to temperature and humidity fluctuations leading to expansion or contraction. The product’s colour may also develop overtime – often from a yellowish hue to a grayish hue, each piece tells a story of its journey. It’s normal for wood items to experience slight movements or develop cracks, known as “Checks,” which are inherent to solid wood and contribute to its authenticity and do not compromise its quality.

Delivery Coverage
We deliver to all cities and towns within the South-African borders. There may occasionally be a remote or high-risk area that may not be serviced by our couriers, or incur additional delivery fees but in these isolated cases, we will contact the customer to make alternative arrangements before the order is dispatched.
We aim to get your products to you as quickly as possible. If you order multiple items, they may be dispatched from different locations. You will receive separate tracking information for each shipment.
Manufacturing Lead Time
This item is made from date of order and has an estimate manufacturing lead-time of 2-3 weeks. Lead-times are an estimation only and may vary over busy manufacturing periods and December holidays.
Returns
10 Day Return Policy
This product is covered by a 10-day return policy, allowing you to request a return within 10 days of receiving your item. To qualify for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, with tags attached (if applicable), and in its original packaging. Additionally, please ensure you have the receipt or proof of purchase available for the return process.
Short Received, Wrong Product, Damaged, or Faulty Products
Claims for issues such as short receipt, wrong product, damage, or faults must be made in writing within 24 hours of receiving the goods, preferably with accompanying photos.
- For faulty items, including those received damaged or with manufacturing faults, we offer alternatives such as exchanges.
- Faulty products within the warranty period (If applicable) can be returned for repair and if unsuccessful, replacement.
- Upon receipt of the claim, we will inspect the item within an estimated 10 working days to approve or reject the refund or exchange request. Claims must be emailed to admin@lcvdesignsndecor.co.za.
Collection of goods will be arranged if feasible.
Sale Items
Sale items are generally considered non-returnable and non-refundable unless explicitly agreed upon and documented in writing.
Eligibility for Return
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. It is essential to ensure that the returning product is packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. If the product is not adequately packaged and arrives damaged, we are unable to provide a refund. Therefore, it is your responsibility to package the item correctly so that it can travel safely back to us.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Shipping/Courier Costs
Shipping/courier costs are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping and return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Any additional delivery costs due to failed deliveries caused by client or access problems will be for the customer’s account.
Approved Refunds
EFT refunds may take up to 3 working days to reflect in your account, while credit card refunds can take up to 14 working days. Refunds are processed on working days only, Monday-Friday. If a refund isn't received within 14 days after returning the item, contact us at admin@lcvdesignsndecor.co.za.
