Custom Duvet Sets
- What custom print duvet sets are currently in stock? We don’t have any preprinted sets available, they are printed once an order is confirmed.
- When could I expect delivery on custom duvet sets? Approx lead times on prints – 4 weeks.
- What type of fabric is used for the custom duvet sets?Top Print : 100% Polyester – PolyTex | Bottom: 100% Cotton / 50/50Poly Cotton Sheeting
- What would be on the reverse side? Reverse side can be White, Black or Grey.
- What is used to close the duvet?Closed with Snap studs.
- How many pillowcases do I receive? Toddler, Single, Three Quater – 1 Standard Pillow Case (additional can be ordered) | Double, Queen, King, Super King – 2 Standard Pillow Cases
- Do I receive an inner with the duvet? These would need to be purchased separately
- What fabric is used?Printed on a Pollytwill or deco weave.
- Will I receive exactly the same as the design image displayed? Design Image is only a representation of the design, colour and placement may vary.
- What happens if I want a single duvet and the image on your site is a double? The design will be adapted to the size of the duvet ordered.

- Are all your items imported? No, not all our items are imported. Many of our products are locally sourced because we believe in supporting local businesses. We only import items that are not available locally.
Lighting Technical Terms
Lampholder Types
Not all bulbs work in a specific light fixture. It is therefore important to know the different characteristics of each bulb type in order to get the most out of your lighting and to avoid the dangers of using the wrong bulbs in your fixtures. Find below the two most commonly used lamp fitting types.
SA Bayonette Lamp Fitting:
- Most commonly used in South Africa
- Also referred to as BC / Bayonet / SA
- Bulb “clips” and turns in
- Smaller lampholder
- More affordable
E27 / Euro Lamp Fitting:
- Most commonly used overseas
- Also referred to as ES / Screw in
- Bulb screws in
- Larger lampholder
- More expensive
Washer Types
The washer, also known as the shade ring, is welded to the lampshade and forms part of the fitting that connects to the lampholder of the lamp base.
Not all washers are interchangable with different lampholders. One must clearly know the difference between the 2 most commonly used washers to allow your lampshade to fit onto your lamp base properly
Should you order lampshades manufactured with E27 washers in error, one can purchase “converters” from us that clip onto the existing E27 washer to convert it to a SA washer instead. This is a cheaper alternative than remaking the lampshade.
